Mrs. Oder's Class Grading Scale - Standards Based Grading Scale: M = Meets Expectations D = Developing Expectations U = Unsatisfactory Progress
HOMEWORK *Check the assignment books nightly for work your child needs to complete. *Students should read at least 20 minutes a night.
LATE WORK POLICY *Students are expected to have their assignments completed and ready to turn in at the beginning of each class. Assignments that are not ready are considered "late". A late assignment will earn the student a strike for that class. If a student receives 3 strikes in two or more classes, then they will not be allowed to participate in the "SCOT PRIDE" program at the end of the 9 weeks. Students can also receive strikes for behavior issues and not being prepared for class.
GRADES *Grades are posted on our school website so parents can check on grades before interims and grade cards. Grades will be updated weekly. If you have any questions, let me know.
COMMUNICATION *I can be reached at school at 419-768-3040 between 8:30-3:30. Also by e-mail at [email protected] *Highland Elementary has a Twitter account. You can log on at Twitter.com/HighElem to follow events here at the Elementary.
